My name is Ivory Heshka and I am a third year Sociology major at the University of Victoria. Originally, I was born and raised in Calgary, AB, and I moved up to Edmonton, AB when I was 12 years old. I am 20 years old now and I enjoy spending time in the outdoors, going to the beach, and exploring the Gulf Islands all around Victoria! My goal for the year is to visit each one of the Gulf Islands at least once. I am keen to apply my knowledge of sociology to the content in this course, while also exploring new ideas and concepts that are presented this semester.
